On 8th May 2023, I had the opportunity to visit the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) located in IICT in Hyderabad. The primary purpose of my visit was to attend an exhibition organized by CCMB aimed at raising awareness about genetic disorders- the gene health connects. The exhibition served as an educational platform, shedding light on the details of genetic disorders and the ground breaking research being conducted in the field of genetics. The exhibition began by providing a comprehensive introduction to genetic disorders. It offered a clear definition of genetic disorders, explaining how they result in abnormalities or mutations in an individual's DNA. After refreshing our knowledge regarding genetics by all the dignitaries, the director general of CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research) - Dr. N.
